Reply with quote | #1 | A client asked a great question...How do you know when it's your ego talking to you?
I'll throw a couple of ways out there, but I want to hear from you as well...
- When you are confused - When the perspective comes from fear, not love
There are lots of ways, what else can we say? __________________ Coach Michele

Reply with quote | #2 | A few other ways that indicate "ego" and not "self" is talking:
1. If you find yourself having a strong emotional attachment to an outcome. 2. If you feel a need to "be right." 3. If you are feeling doubtful or insecure about a situation.

Reply with quote | #4 | This is a great question. I tend to look at ego as the thing that tricks us into believing that we can derive joy from exterior sources. Ego is usually about the things that we hope other people will think about us, material possessions or status symbols.
People spend a great deal of time fretting about how they stack up to their friends, what kind of car they drive, how powerful they are and other things that really don't help us become more fulfilled.
The solution. Get to know and love yourself and get as healthy as possible. Happiness follows.
Take care,
Guy I help people let go of their ego.
